Yeah... Thats true. Valve does balance things out such as the recent balance of the CZ75-auto.
I'm guessing that the "awp" is a weapon you are considering OP. And it is in some game types such as a deathmatch or maybe some other modes. But in competitive it isnt so difficult to counter an awp. You just have to learn. Try to watch some videos if you are interested or not. Its your choise just thought Id add a bit extra than my previous ^^^^^ :D
