What ports should I open for CSGO?

I am configuring my router by allowing more traffic to CSGO but since I need to add this specific application it wants the csgo port/range. It also wants the protocol Timeout and map to host port. If anyone could help me with this that would we great.

Your network must be configured to allow Steam access to the following ports (in order from highest to lowest priority for QoS users):

UDP 27015 to 27030 inclusive (Typically Matchmaking and HLTV)

I would do so, I am not certain what the udp 4380 is so I don't know if you need that too, I copied this from steams faq. But yeah, cs go only those seem to be it. I didn't really open any ports, so how would opening the ports help?

my game in the past week has been lagging all of a sudden and im trying to figure out ways to fix it.

We've all been having lag issue jearbear.. try a match now maybe, yesterday it was better for me. Also, if you're on wireless try to wire yourself with cable... that fixed 99% of rubberbanding for me... recently I've been rubberbanding due to these servers being... bad.

I bought 100ft of cat6 ethernet cable for like $12... it was definitely worth it. From 3 star it got me to DMG. Lattency is indirectly proportional to skill.

It was by rosewill from newegg.com. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links like that here so I left you with the name. The 100ft one should be white, they also have 50ft in black for like $6 both cables are reliable.

I forgot to say this but it can help in some cases, try to elevate your wireless modem, so it stays at about head height, rather than ground level. For some people it makes a difference, for some it doesn't.

Hey Man, I have 5MBPS, Modem To PC direct connection, I need help, I always have high ping on any servers. My ISP asks me to get static ip, for 3.5$ a month, I'm gonna try it.

sorry for asking but i created a server of my own and i people cant join unless we are connected whit hamachi i already opened my ports at the firewall what can i do ?
