There should be a chat-filter for offensive words. It's not that hard to implent, I used to ahve it back when I was a game developer. Though I haven't been one on steam ofcourse...

Anyways, good point Freddy. First time I've met a smart bot ;)

The thing that Freddy wanted to point out was that there's a lot of offensive chatter in-game.

There's a difference between being salty and expressing hate against a certain group of people.
I can understand tha saltiness and rage, but nothing else.

Assuming you're one of those offensive chatters due to your pointless post here..

I have no problem with facing youngsters of today.
It's just sad how much lack of respect they have today, and it's sad considering the lack of education and dicipline that is being thought out by parents. As a parent myself, I would be so mad if my kid where the one screaming offensive chats in chat.

As for myself, I have no problem with it. Easy mute and report, but there's users out there who gets offended by the racism and hate. Which is understandable, don't you think?
They're playing to have a good time, not getting called this and that. Right?

CSGO has one of the most toxic player-base, no argue, it's something you should know when you play the game. However, don't you think it's sad? The game would be so much better if everyone just payed respect to one another.

Ooooh, so you’re a fan of censorship in a game rated for adults. Okay. Now I know not to add you.

This game is rated M. As in, for mature. If you’re not mature enough to handle jokes about about, uh,

(Which are not examples of racism btw)

Then you shouldn’t be playing this game. Also, in case you haven’t noticed you can in fact report people for chat abuse.

Incorrect. CS doesn’t have one of the most toxic communities. They just have one of the largest. Within any community there are toxic people, and there are a proportional amount in CS as there are to any other game.

If people are getting offended by people saying these things, they need to also learn to block and report them. Easy solution.

Might not be examples of racism, but they're still examples of the offensive language used in-game. I believe the OP's headline is misguiding. I think he's trying to point out all offenses, not just racism. His examples however points at hate against a certain group of people which is even worse and even illigeal.

You can't simply state that you shouldn't play the game because people don't know how to behave, children of today should learn some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ respect instead.

Might be true, however.. Don't you think it would be alot of easier if people could learn how to treat an equal? Parents need to teach their children alittle dicipline. As I stated above, if it was my kid screaming in-game I'd take away her PC right ahead.

I don’t know where you live but that’s not illegal. What is illegal is censoring people’s freedom of speech.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t play the game because people don’t know how to behave. I’m saying if you can’t handle what they say, go watch Cool Cat’s movie about cyber bullying and learn how to handle it appropriately.
