I couldn't have put it more elegantly myself.
Valve really needs to fix their servers.
I have a potato, yet 128 tick servers have the same FPS as 64 tick.
I only have a 9 year old i7 870, and a gtx 750ti.
It's server side. It won't make any differance on client side with fps. It's linear function, not exponential. And it doesn't increase amount of heavy calculations. It's just sockets. Bet your pc can handle 128 gzip compressions per secound, if you visiting YouTube/FB/Tumblr/Google using your Browser. About 248 reqs per page with load time of 3 sec's on YT(including queing, locks, parsing, tcp, tls, rendering, building CSS, optimizing JS, caching on HDD and compressing/decompressing gzip).
Also my PC is a potato, so I CAN'T show you.
