The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim Random CTD
Can play for random peroids of time between 20mins & 2hours.

Then it will just randomly crash to desktop it will do this just walking around indoors and outdoors or during fights.

Somtimes it would freeze not sure if I fixed that but I fixed the infinite loading loop issue I had.
I have exhausted disabling mods and so on to see what the cause could be but due it being random its hard to pin which mod if any are the cause. I do use modified .ini files but I use them as suggested by the Nvidia Skyrim Optimization Guide.

It may just be one of your mods, if you have a lot of them. my "Scenic Carriages" was outdated, and it caused me to CTD every time I went near Falkreath. It was a pain and took me two days of finding out what the problem was! Turns out it was just ONE mod that was outdated. At least that's what I think. You might try updating everything. Maybe one or more mods are conflicting as well.
I had a bit of a play and I turned of a lot of the immersive animations for duel wield and so forth removed the save manager and compressed the textures with that tool, Installed 3 versions of SKSE and removed them just to clean up any files it may have installed differently and Installed the latest version by 7zipping it and installing it with the mod manager.

Then I Disabled Vsync have been playing for a good 3 or hours with out a single CTD so far hopefully it stays this way, I renabled some of the animation mods just for running walking and sneaking and the immersive magic animations still played just fine. With out those installed I was hovering when I was in thirdperson.

I have no idea what caused the issue to begin with but It is working fine now and I removed basicly none of the imeression and gameplay enhancements. I updated everything as well but it was doing it after that as well.
Good to hear. Hopefully it'll keep working properly!
