Skyrim crashes after fast traveling, I need help

Sooo... Whenever I try to fast travel to Orotheim or any surrounding locations, Skyrim immediately crashes to desktop. I tried walking there and coc, but they still crash! I tried everything: checking all my installed mods, uninstalling mods, etc. It still didn't work.

The quest I need to do in Orotheim is to assassinate the leader of the silver hands which is part of the Companions quests line. I tried fast traveling there with other save files and they all crash again. IDK what to do any more. This is infuriating.

If anyone has any solutions for this, I'd really like to know. Please and thank you.

Sorry but I don't have any help for you. Just to let you know I have a similar problem and have not found a solution yet. I t is peculiar to certain areas and other areas seem unaffected. I have run LOOT and Tess5 edit to no avial. I have done the local file bit so many times I have lost count. At this point I may try reloading the game again but if that doesn't work I may just give up and move on to some other game.

That's a letdown. I'm not ready to quit playing Skyrim yet. Is there a way to restore the data back to its original state? (no mods or anything / no save files / like it was just bought / etc)

You gotta post your mod list whenever you have a problem such as this. Restoring your game back to its vanilla state is easy, but midgame? That will probably destroy your saves (depending on what kind of mods you run).
