Any Guilds you have not joined? Or at least not done any quests for?
I was wondering if there are any guids you have not joined.

For me I've owned this game since December 2011. Even after having it that long I still have not done any mage guild quests. The only reason I've been "inducted" into the mages guild is because Bethesda forced it if you wanted to complete a certain quest. Although recently I found a nice mod that you just "visit" the college and don't have to join.

So yeah.. after all the hours you put into the game, have you ignored any guild(s)? Also a bonus question. Do you normally join multiple guilds? Or normally just choose one?

I guess I can add that I have completed the brotherhood twice.. I normally do not join them just because I always side with the Imperials. I did their quests just to see what it was like then went back to the "Before joining save"

I've joined all of them at least once, although I've never completed the Companions (got pretty close but I had a mod installed that made Ysgramor's Tomb way too high level and I couldn't be bothered loading an earlier save from before things got to the point where it would have made no sense to go 'okay, chaps, just going to go away and train for a month or two!') and I've never gone past about halfway through Mzulft with the CoW, although I keep meaning to (current character is definitely going to, or at least that's the plan...)

nice. It's not quite a guild but I have never completed the Stormcloaks side. :D

No, that, too, actually. Even when I want to, I tend to be put off by having to go and faff around killing an ice wraith, it's always 'yeah, I'll go and prove myself for the Stormcloaks tomorrow... Okay, no, maybe the day after.' It's not even that ice wraiths are that hard, esp if you have a fire spell, they're just ANNOYING. This character is a Dunmer with Stormcloak leanings, although I haven't quite figured out a way to make it make sense for her to actually go so far as to join up rather than just occasionally duffing up Thalmor/Imperial patrols that she stumbles on.

I've played them all once, but I don't care for the Dark Brotherhood (they seem to be an amateurish outlet for some sort of teen wangst in TESV) or the Stormcloaks (though I do find Ulfric's speaking voice fun.)

You could have some story like "The Thalmor did something bad enough to the point of Her hating them with all her life. The stormcloaks racisim towards her is nothing compared to the evils the Thalmor did to her/family/friends/ a random child she saw who just picked up a talos trinket from the grass that they happen to see and killed the child."

never played throught as the stormcloaks, or the dark brotherhood

ulfric stormcloak just irks me. the war is what ulfric wants not what skyrim wants.
joining the dark brotherhood in oblivion seemed better

I've never done the Imperials/Stormcloak Civil War...ever, don't care to. Have not done the Bards College. And never sided with the Blades in the end.

I never did the whole Civil War thing. I do have the achievement 'Taking sides' but I reloaded later because it was boring. I did every other guild or faction though.

Ah yes, forgot about that one. I will not kill Paarthurnax, not ever, so the Blades are right out (and I don't care enough about them to mod it.) Another I won't complete is Oblivion Walker...I like too many of the people I'm supposed to do away with.

Yeah I modded it so I can have the blades be cool and paarthurnax survive :D

Heh, the extent I will go with modding the Blades is using the console to remove the essential status from Delphine and Esbern and then summoning Odahviing. Someone posted a video of themselves doing just that and it was...inspirational.

*Spoiler Alert*

Arthmoor, the guy that oversee the Unofficial Patches made a mod to especially address the Paarthurnax Dilemma..

Maybe worth be trying out for anyone interested in a more satisfying conclusion of the main quest.

I've done every quest for every guild, but usually, when starting a new game, I leave the companions for last. I do that because I love to play as a vampire, and the companions force you to become a werewolf to continue down their quest line.

Also, I don't like the companions in general, since they have such ignorant views on the value of magic.
