I only have a budget of £600 tops, with no OS, it goes £50 over my buget :(

Edit: Once you learn how, upgrading them as the games get more and more demanding will be easy.
Processor: i5 or above.
Ram: 6-8 Gb.
OS: Win 7 or 8 (I prefer 7).
Graphics: Nvidia or AMD with at least 2Gb of vram (I prefer Nvidia)
Disk Space: 500 Gb or more.
With this as your minimum you should do fine.
£600 is about $1000 US. You can do pretty well with that going prebuilt.
