That should be everything.
Once you open the game the menu now has Casual and Hard modes. Your progress from before will be in the Hard mode, but now you can play in Casual.
Your perk unlocks and weapon progression apply to all difficulty modes, but unlocking Districts only applies to the difficulty mode you're currently in.
You can go back and forth between difficulty modes.
Please feedback on here or Discord with how you're finding it!
I’ve moved over to my old Xbox controller now, so just getting the hang of aiming again with it, but I find moving with the controller waaaay easier, so I haven’t gotten as far as I’d like, but then I haven’t put loads of time it.
That being said, in the last 20 mins I have been playing, I got to stage 2 and 3 with a decent level of ease compared to previously.
The llamas are definitely slower, the mech stronger and the drops more frequent. Still a tough challenging game though - but that is what makes it fun. It kinda makes you wanna "get" those llamas.
Getting used to the weapons is also a challenge as some of them are slower than others and you have to use different strats with each one. But that too is nice. I do find myself reluctant to pick up new weapons because I like the current one (like the ice cannon). Don't want to lose it. Is there a way to switch between weapons that I may have missed?
Still trying to see what a post box looks like though I have destroyed 4 already lol.
My son played the normal version and is totally hooked - he found it challenging but quickly adapted to the mechanics and was soon slaughtering llamas, leaving blood and guts in his wake. I am sure he will write his own review.
I do think you have now catered to most people who will play the game. Your humour is spot on and very entertaining. Thanks for a great game.
[As a single-player only]
Really happy with the casual beta! Previously I was able to make a max 4-5 sections of the first district but made it all the way to the end of the first district and unlocked the second now, with a moderate amount of health remaining.
Suffice to say I'm now even more hooked to the game! Casual mode is noticeably easier and more enjoyable for single player. In hard mode, I'm unable to make it through the first section (with pistols) without losing the majority of my health.
Finally, have you been using jumpsmash, dash, shield?
And yes, I've been using jumpsmash and shield but not dash.
