Mana Farming & Dropped items?
What happens to the drops that dissappear during a wave - do they become part of the mana that is shared at the end of the wave OR can you really loot the first few hundred items each wave and the mana share at the end is the same as if no one took anything for the first half of wave?
This is something I probably should have known the answer to 1700 hours of playing ago.
Does anyone know the correct answer to this? Thanks in advance

I think they will be vendored in advance like the rest of them, so it doesnt get to laggy.

Makes sense to me, since you get so much mana for even crap items, but with high numbers of monsters e.g. ramparts nmhc survival.
I'm fairly sure they don't get sold in advanced they just remove the less valuable ones first when you hit the item cap.

the floor only holds so many items usually based on how many people are in game if its 1 then about 50, 4 then about 120 somthing like that i dont know the real numbers.

during a survival its okie to pick up items during the wave so like if its a 2000 wave tell everyone to grab as much as they want for the first 1500 mobs. in all survivals the best gear drops in the last 25% of the wave. so at 1500 everyone should be repairing and upping and not near the gear piles at all.

on the down side the early parts of the waves unless its KG-tinks lab usually is just dropping low end gear that doesnt sell for much anyway so wasting your time grabbing it all isnt very helpful.

an easy way to keep the peace when it comes to pugs and gear drops is assign doors. if your in a game that needs up/repairs and a dps to fight ogers and people want to pick up drops just give them a path. most maps have paths people can protect on their own and up their own side of defences if they can do that they should infact beable to loot the gear from that side they are doing their job and are contributing to the team. my favorite map to do this is Mistmire the paths are very obvious and it is very easy to call people out who go out of their way to loot a trans-ulti item they see on some one else's door. which results in an instant boot.
Pretty sure you can loot like crazy for the first half or so, and than have everyone drop it between waves without it disappearing and than start the round to split the mana. On some maps it's not worth it since you cap out a 600mil mana anyways. I used to just fill my inverntory and sell it after the match so I didn't lose so much mana.
Thanks guys - I guess I'll be a little lighter on looters - my No 2 pet peeve, AFKers are No1, and Crystal sitters No 3. Why they didnt up the cap is a mystery to me - insstead of every wave having to spend it on something or loose it. Let's hope DD2 is improved, all around.!!!

I hate the Mana Cap, specially cause in shop and with Tokens it goes to 1.9bil, why not just have it all the time that way. It's probably just a simple change. I don't have my hopes up for DD2, specially cause all they are focusing on is the PvP side of it. Maybe when they are done and start working on the side we all acutally like, and release some info, I'll think about it.

if they dont get revenue from the pvp the coop will either be over priced or scrapped. seeing they are just copying other games to make the pvp i dont have any hopes for dd2
That is really too bad since this one is such a fun one. Well most of the time anyway.
