is this game good?

picked it up with torchlight back in the summer sale. getting a bit tired of torchlight and now I'm going to install this game. however I dont know if I will like it or not. I dont even know how to play. Or what this game is all about. Have I made a mistake buying or what?

This is a tower defense game with a level up system. Pretty fun, if you like the style, i didnt enjoy it though. BUT yo ustill can, it is my opinion. I dont like the style that much. (:

I grabbed it during the summer sale and got like 20 hrs into it so far and I am enjoying it. It just depends on what types of games you like. It is definately more then just a tower defence as it is not just setting up defenses. You are a much more active participant then say in like OMD. But I like both games.

like tower defense game's. but this is more a simple dota version.

I find the game to be slightly addicting and completely enjoyable. It's too bad that you can't pick the game up at the Summer Sale price.

This game may seem a like a kiddy game at first glance, but when you've spent 200 hours on it without even realizing it and you've enjoyed it the whole time, you'll be glad you did.

Yes this is a great game. I got it on a steam sale and I am glad I did. I have put many hours into it and plan on many more.

[Dragonfire]

This is one of my favorite games ever. It's a Tower Defense Action-RPG in which there are four different character classes (in the base game) and a bunch of great maps. TONS of replay value too. If you get into it, I HIGHLY recommend pretty much all the DLC, but if you dont want it all, the best ones are the lost eternia shards pack, and the character classes. Add me on steam if you want someone to play witih and/or want some pro tips. ;)

The real fun starts when you hit 74 and get into nm. THEN the game gets good.

But GETTING to lvl 74 is the problem. Unless you play only online with similar level people, you're forced to grind on easy/medium difficulty for hours (if you're new to the game)...which kind of ruins the fun.

Torchlight is boring and repetitive as hell. DD is repetitive too but atleast it has multiplayer. 250 hours and still going
