Best Barb Weapon?

What would be the best barb weap? i'm looking for the best barb wep to use :0

I'm using 2 Obsidian Gladiuses and IMO they're best choices for barb.

The Steam Saw recieve the most Damage per upgrade (Capable of 150K+).

The Obsidian Gladius recieves a moderate amount of Damage per Upgrade (Capable of 80K+). They are also the Fastest Squire Weapons in the game.

Both weapons will easily allow you to solo the game quickly. But there you need to consider some things before you disregard either.

Overall: Let's say we have a 333^ Steam Saw and Obsidian Gladius,

They will be at about... 140K and 74K respectively,

The higher damage on the Saw means More (About 50-100M+) Hawk damage.

But the Gladius increased Attack Speed means you will be hitting a lot more frequently than the Saw.

This Speed Difference will give the Gladius the most DPS.

HOWEVER, The Steam Saw redeems itself in a significant way.

The difference in Hawk Strike Damage VS DPS becomes a matter of importance when fighting the Goblin Battlecruiser and Old One.

If you used a Steam Saw when fighting these two Bosses you have less of a chance of failing.

It significantly decreases the amount of times you have to leap to the Battlecruiser and Back on Sky City.

It significantly decreases the amount of chances the Old One has of pushing you out of the map.

This means the Steam Saw decreases your chance of failure on Bosses and allows you to dispose of Shards bosses quicker.

The Steam Saw does more Raw Damage, You'll kill Bossses significantly faster.

The Obsidian Gladius does more DPS, You'll kill Creeps/Ogres significantly faster.

You forget that the obsidian weapons have a higher DPS muliplier scale than other weapons, i have a 87k gladius that is doing the same damage as a 130k steam saw

But a 87K Gladius is a lot harder to obtain. I'd be surprised if there were any that go past (480^) 92K! A 130K Steam Saw is easy in comparison. Also, Steam Saws can go to (420^) 160k.

I think the gladius is the best general slaying weapon. I also believe the steam saws higher hawk damage on bosses makes up for that :p
