Tinkerers lab, still unavailable 1 week later...

1 week after being introduced it is still not available, without resorting to actions that can technically get your steam account closed, if they decide to enforce it.

At this point it has been proven beyond reasonable doubt that it is still being IP address geoblocked and that using a VPN or similar proxy, with a node that has a USA-IP, will actually properly unlock and download this DLC.

Without resorting to that:
The store will tell you that you already have it, but library will not list it and the game also denies having it.
At least the ingame 'Get' button no longer redirects to 'Holiday extravaganza', it actually lands on the tinkers lab page now, but also does not grant access. It shows 2 buttons: play (duh, viewing ingame from steam overlay) and 'install steam' (duh, again). Neither of them unlock it.

Some Problem here, If it is Valve of Trendy fault i dont care, 1 week has passed and this problem is still not resolved, get you act together Valve or Trendy!!!!!

It seems that they not care, if the DLC is working in the US it seems they have done thier part and move on,

This happened for me a week ago and all I did to get it working was click install to steam (and nothing really happened) so I went in game and tried to play the level and pressed install to steam again and it worked?

Not sure if that will help but it seems spamming install got it going for me (on my new DD account I should add, maybe that had something to do with it?).

So, this is an official response on the Trendy forums:

Update on the GET button issue that we've been investigating. In this case it looks like another Steam issue and we're in contact with Valve to resolve it. I wouldn't recommend re-downloading the entire game to try and fix the issue as it will likely not help.

Yeah, it sucks that you have to use something which could get you banned from steam just to unlock a free overdue update.

Yes, I have seen that comment from TE, they pasted that in 3 different thread, including somewhere on this forum.
But that was 5 days ago.

I run linux, I have a usa ip. I was given the dlc. and i don't have it.

Well, whoever is at fault, it is getting us nowhere that they are playing blame games.

TE: its at steams end we cant change it.
Steam: TE's fault for submitting it incorrectly.
Now they are not on talking terms until the other side caves in, meanwhile the userbase suffers.

Just fix it already, it makes both sides look like kids who werent brought up properly.
