Random crashing problems?

So I recently bought this game and have been playing it on my mac, but I keep running in to a problem where the game will crash after like 30 mins of playing, first steam crashes, and then the game freezes up and I have to force quit to re-launch it. Any sugestions?

Sorry, no suggentions ... just commisserations.

I have btw the same problem. I think there are two problems playing DD on Mac: Steam and DD on Mac. Lately Steam is a bit unstable, resulting in a crash of Steam and consecutively in a crash of DD. But it also seems as if Mac is not DD's forte. Doing Survival on later levels I experienced a lot of freezes of DD. I'm more often beaten by DD's breakdown than by the mob.

I think there can be nothing done, if you don't like it stop playing it. TE can't solve the problem. The Steam problem is new and bothers me more (because it is more often happening). If it stays on much longer I quit gaming DD.

I may have found a temporary fix, it may sound dumb but I restarted my mac and everything seemed to even out. The problem seemed to come back after a day or so, but for the time being it's the best I've got...
