No sound past intros?

I have no sound past the intro movies when using my USB headset. Everything I've read said this was patched like a year ago but I just bought this during the sale. So far everything I've tried hasn't worked and support hasn't responded to emails. Any ideas what I can try? I've basically just burned the money I spent as it stands.
