Game wont launch with error 51

Every time I try to launch the game, I get error 51. Any solutions?
I have turned off firewall and restored game cache. Even re-installed.

Turning off the fire wall wont fix the problem is you're using certain anti virus programs. Check to makesure all the game files are there. Try to verify them. If it tells you, you're missing 2 files. Good chance is that one of those files is the actual exe. Which is a file some antivirus programs see as a threat. I know McAfee has this issue with the game. If thats the case, best bet is to get a different anti virus. Uninstall the antivirus you have now, reset your computer, very the files again, let the game send Dungeon Defenders back to your doload section of steam, then let it install the two missing files. My friend had this same problem 2 weeks ago, and that was the solution.

I tried to reinstall the game without antivirus. Didnt help at all.

Thats what she tried too. It only worked after the antivirus was completely deleted and she restarted her computer, then tried. SHe first tried by turning off the anti virus firewall and turning it off all together. That doesnt work. Try to delete it all together. Then reset your computer and try to reinstall the game. Look in your local Dungeon Defenders game folder >Binaries>Redist>win32. You should see 3 files in there that have sword icons next to them (to the left). If you dont have 3, it means those are the missing files. The same files my friend was missing. I know she was missing at least one of them. It was the games exe file and it wasnt able to instal until she completely deleted her anti virus software. Im not saying all anti virus software gives it problems. I use Avast and had no problem installing the game. She used McAfee and had problems.

Well I'm not gonna get through the trouble of deleting my antivirus completely. Besides, FSecure is pretty off-turnable :D And those three sword-icon thingies are there anyways. I'm just gonna ask from their support email for more help. Hopefully a solution appears.
