you don't need to be in overlord mode at all I know what wiki says but you don't
the thing is only your minions can do damage if you have a pet that attacks or a player that hits even 1 enemy (the except last wave) you wont get it. you also cannot use any towers that do damage this includes reflective walls

to get real time strategist as long as only summons and non damaging defenses are used every player will get it, pets and players can't damage any monster until the final round as well.

If take for example the achievement Brute Force to obtain it you need to kill monsters, without towers damaging, but I played with my friends and they build towers, but I got the achievement. They do at this time strategist award, after we swap )

You cannot get Real Time Strategist and Brute Force at the same time.
Real Time Strategist ONLY allows minions to deal damage to monsters, NOTHING else.
And for Brute Force you must shoot/punch a monster at least once.

If pet or player attack = no achivement ( Not bed if all use Diamods or Rock. Big problem with this achiwement on shard maps :I

All you need is a good Summoner.
And if you want to try it on a higher difficulty, you can add Series EV for physical and buff beams and monk for some slow/strength drain aura.
