so there is no known fix for the lips and audio of the characters getting out of sync during cutscenes?

It's not a matter of the audio getting out of synch. It's the fact that this game predates the time when japanese studios would bother changing the lip synching for the western release and it would just be dubbed over.

If I turn off AA and use my Nvidia FXAA the game creates a ghost image on the top left of the screen. Why is this? Any peeps out there know?

It's not just the lipsync that's off. All audio is offset from visual. Guy tosses his wrench and you hear it before you see it.

You can fix this by limiting the FPS to 60. Go into the PC Settings menu and set the display frequency to 60 Hz. Also you may need to make an adjustment to the Lost Planet profile in your GPU control panel:

For Nvidia users, make sure "Preferred Refresh Rate" is at "Application Controlled" not "Highest Available."

I'm not sure what the equivalent setting is for AMD users, but it will be something similar to that.
