Possible Fix for CTD after ~2h of play

So I too experienced CTD after a few hours of gameplay with various side effects like a black screen or no signal at all. I have Windows 7 x64 and Windows 10 x64 on different SSDs but in the same PC and both CTD'd.

But good old Windows 7 gave me a Virtual Memory Error so I knew what to try because lowering the settings didn't help one bit.

If you have Virtual Memory specified yourself (like I had) at a max. of 8000MB or lower then the game will CTD. I haven't tried the lowest possible setting, but it's somewhere around 25GB of Total Memory - that is System RAM + Virtual RAM. So even if you have 16GB RAM, if you specified Virtual Memory yourself and didn't make it large enough, you get CTD.

This is true not only for my PC but for my sisters as well.
My system:
i7-6850K
16GB RAM
980Ti
Windows 7 x64 and Windows 10 x64

My sisters PC:
i7 5820K
16GB RAM (the exact same as mine)
1080Ti
Windows 8.1 x64

We both could't play for more than 2h before. Now I had a 5h session and my sisters isn't even over yet (6,5h and going).

So maybe that helps someone.
