Should I get this game?

$5 is very tempting and I heard this game was very good but I had no interest in it before and the only time I ever played it was splitscreen with my friend on his xbox for a few minutes. So what can you do in this game? Is it all you do is shoot portals and try to get to the destination. Is there replay value in this game? How does the multiplayer work and what do you do?

it all depends if you like puzzle solving games mate. if you do then believe the hype, this game is totally worth it! yes, all you pretty much do is short portals but thats the fun! the enviroment in this game really is amazing and gives you this dark edgy feel and the characters and passing each level makes it intruiging enough to keep going to see what the next lone is about. i just woke up and rambled this down so i don't know if i made sense but dude, seriously $5 is totally worth it! :D

Is there any replay value after you finish the entire single player?

Not much, the co-op is amazing though. The only replay value is a "challenge mode" in which you play one level and try to beat your best time. However, there is an awesome level editor where you can make and publish your own levels. You can also play other peoples levels (some of which are awesome, it's a hit and miss). It would be STUPID to not buy it at $5!
Just buy it.

The true replay value is achieved with the perpetual testing initiative (thats the name for the level editor mentioned above). i personally didn't feel the levels were challenging enough so the fact that i can search for maps that will give me a proper run for my money makes me keep coming back to this game. It's amazing and spectacular and even though all you do is shoot two portals thats the magic. you don't level up or get better abilities. What you start with is all you have. how you get through the puzzles is based solely around you thinking outside the box. If you're not sure then check out youtube. theres always some pretty solid videos on there.

well basically, watch two best sisters play portal 2, if you dont like it after watching that video, there is something wrong with you

Get both 1 and 2, and you'll see. They're very beautiful games, and it's like they know what you're thinking... all the time. It was a deep psychological experience for me because of the story too.

i would get it ive played it b4 and let me say this it is a challenge but it is awesome. and if ur ever bored or wanna hallenge ur brain? this is the right game. totally wrth the 5 bucks

Like i said, make your own maps, play with friends, its terrible fun xD
Basically like any MP version of a game xD
