Considering A) Man has never seen Heaven and returned and B) those myths are based on actual wheat fields which, you know, exist in the real world and C) there are a ton of wheat fields in mainland America (where Aperture labs is probably located) and your entire argument falls completely apart.

Why, seriously WHY do people feel the need to see metaphor in EVERYTHING?! It's a wheat field, just a wheat field. It's literally a wheat field. That's it, there is no hidden meaning because Portal was about dry and dark humor, not deep metaphors and symbolism.

I think a prequel would be great. Chapter one could be the grand opening of the Apature Science Lab and everything would be bright and shinny and new, including GLaDOS.
Extended time could pass between each chapter and we see how GLaDOS starts to change.

So yes, GLaDOS COULD be good... For a while :)

i think portal 3 should be goin something like this!!! Resolution! : After a long long time the damage left from that moron who took glados place the underground facility comes to its toll of a huge explosion because no humans left to fix it!.... but glados manages to creade an humanoid and transfers her logic and AI into that Half Robot Half Human body with real human emotions "TERMINATOR 3 or 4 wat it??".... same time the bots who escaped into space return as one and make various bosses that establish other underground bases around earth and GLADOS as humanoid tries to destroy them before they reach the core and turn the planet into a giant robot "STARWARS". But there is something missing from this story :p so make your own and continue writing this script if you like it!!! :p
