ok, so i probably put a few of you through torture while i just sat and spun around randomly pinging. i am sorry, but there is a tremendous amount of lag that causes me to either have a screen freeze or a total blackout, but only in multiplayer. if anyone can help me, id appreciate it

Well first off Verify Integrity of game cache, always do that first and pretty much every problem I have had was fixed by doing that, secondly check your settings as they sometimes change when you access a different part of the game, I know it changed for me the first time I played a custom map from the workshop. Other than that I'm no expert so you may need to give more specific details on what your problem is or it's going to be very hard to know what you mean.
