Portal 2 start up problem
When I start Portal 2 my monitor says:
" 1: Auto Detect (Analog Input)
Cannot Display This Video Mode
Optimum resolution 1280 X 1024 60Hz " Any suggestions? I can start the game, but I just get that screen.

Make sure the Portal 2 resolution is 1280x1024 and try turning on vsync with a refresh of 60Hz.

edit: and check Display->Screen Resolution->Advanced Settings->Monitor to see if your monitor is set to a 60Hz refresh rate
