A little clarification [spoilers]

I just realized from perusing the Portal 1 forums that some may have gotten some ideas that may be incorrect. I'm talking about the ending-- you know, when Wheatley's in space and GLaDOS saves you? (Spoilers was in the title, I'm not gonna block anything out, folks)

Well, someone was mistaken to assume that Caroline is gone. I say mistaken, because although we hear "Caroline deleted", that doesn't necessarily mean she's gone.

GLaDOS has lied to us before. Remember the cake? Not to mention, the song GLaDOS sings at the end says "Now little Caroline is in here too", suggesting that Caroline may still exist. Though, I'll admit, that was written by Jonathan Coulton, not a Valve writer.

So let's clarify one thing;
The fate of Caroline is STILL unknown. We cannot for sure make any assumptions about her fate. We know that her physical body is very likely dead, but as to her memory... that's up in the air.

well. seeing as how the entirety of GLaDOS's existance is based on Caroline, her conciousness isnt gone.
