CRASH

portal 2 worked fine for so long and now every time i wanna continue or load a save it gets close to finished and it just ♥♥♥♥♥ itself and crashes

I used to play the game with no problems. But lately, it just crashes in the middle of the game-play. There is no error message, no warning. Any idea what the problem is?

It worked after I reinstalled it.

how do you reinstalled?

Right click the game in your library, click "delete local content". It should uninstall then, after it's finished just install it again.

yeah uninstall and reinstall

Right click on Portal 2 game - Properties - Local files - Check integrity and then wait until Steam verifies your files.

This worked for me too, don't reinstall, this is easier

Yeah, thanks for the post. had same problem, even though my video card drivers are up-to-date; I validated & it downloaded 7.5 MB of data.
