Keeps closing?

Everytime i play portal two now, it randomly closes.. like no error messages, nothing weird other then just completly shutting down.. it has never done it before up untill today.. it shuts down at random times as well, like sometimes its right at startup, then sometimes its a few mins into the game, anyone have any sugestions?

right click on portal2 in library > properties > local content > verify game cache.

you're probably just missing a file it needs to redownload

I had the same problem yesterday, and verify game cache also worked. Strange bacause it didn't find any missing or corrupted file, but after that it started downloading an update. After that everything was fine.
