no menu or logo Please help!

I just got Portal 2 from the Steam Summer Sale. When I started playing Portal, there was no menu or logo. I kept pressing enter and went to that hotel room thingy. There was no desk, bed, or picture. As I progressed, Wheatly is like white. I don't know what to do! Please help!

Same problem. I have opened up a support ticket about this. Do the same. The more people bother them about this, the faster they will respond.
