I have the same issue, bought a blue top hat in the shop and it's not showing in game.

If there was an issue with a dropped TF2 imported hat, I wouldn't mind as much, but I bought it in the shop!

Well, As i said, Valve is lazy to fix this, they are not fixing it becuase there is no big reaction at it, Portal 2 community needs to wake up.

Confirmed that I get that same console error every time I try to load, and added it to my ticket.
