10/30 Patch - Disable Driver Check

​Hey all,

We've been investigating issues pertaining to yesterday's latest patch and driver update. If you started experiencing issues with the October 30 Wolfenstein II PC patch and were forced to update your GPU drivers, you can use the following workaround to bypass the driver check after reinstalling the previous drivers that you were able to run the game on:

Highlight game in Library -> right-click "Properties" -> click "Set Launch Options" - enter +r_disableDriverVersionCheck 1"

Yep...This worked for me as well! AMD's newer driver are complete garbage on rx580's!

Cant even finish my game. Getting could not write crush dump right after launch! Have latesn nvidia drivers. When are you going to fix that??? Ten days passed. Thanks for "amazing!" support. No more buys from you.

I turn on the game, it shows me the floppy launcher window, disappears and nothing happens. Please help. My specifications:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80GHz

Video Card Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

Video Card #2 AMD Radeon HD 8870M

RAM 16 GB

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit

Have you got Windows 10 latest UPDATE?

What drivers are you using?

You need to have RADEON selected as MAIN video card in your graphics settings.

We can try to help you, but if you don't help yourself then you won't get it working.

Guys you know what is really terrible? Look on how many issues 99% of us have and there is still no new update for the game, are they serious? like wtf O.O days of complaining and zero update after the "DEATH PATCH" xD

I had the no menu's no starcards etc problem. Half the time when I load a game it just sits at the loading screen indefinitely withou the "press X to continue" message ever popping (but I can hear it? It's as if it's finishing the loading but not transitioning to gameplay).

Also textures stopped loading on NPC's. I had these issues BEFORE updating to the newest 388.13 drivers. I just 30 min ago updated to those drivers thinking it would fix these issues but it made no discernable difference.
From what I can tell it seems like the newest patch introduced these bugs?

I feel lucky because I didn't notice any glitch, weird bug and performance issue. I'm at 385.69 driver version and at Win10 v1703 latest build. I just hope you can solve all your game issues to really enjoy this great title.

Hey, pls help. I cannot even start the game (steam says running but it stops after 2 s., nothing shows on the screen). The weird thing is that it started one single time, but I tried number of times afterwards to no effect.

I'm running it on:
Win 10, 10.0.15063
GTX 980M (newest drivers updated after I experianced this issue)
i7-4860HQ
