Buy it be the first to post it WORKS ;)
"pro" lol!

AAA is the term for big company games, but will probably be left for bug like their other games as usual.

Yeahhhh... we were optimistic about the first Kinect, too.
We all know what happened there. ....Some of us still hasn't recovered.....

Ain't about the device this time, but rather the content.

How many times have 'this' or 'that' game been said to become the one true game
to change the entire game industry?
Then you just watch some random unfinished game like pubg wander past every game
on its scenic tour.............. :areyouserious:

Actually I bought the Samsung odyssey after my Vive and pretty much returned it the next day because of how bad the controller tracking was. The headset itself felt really cheap as well. The cable is much shorter then the Vive cable, which I have disconnected from with TPCAST by the way, and I just couldn’t get the headset to hug my face comfortably. It always felt like it was trying to push itself off my face with the awkward sweatband design of the strap. The headphones, though similar in design weren't as adjustable as the Vive strap and left you to kind of squeeze your head between them like a vice rather than snap them down. The resolution wasn't really a noticeable difference though technically higher on the Samsung. The only thing I found superior to Vive was the actual colors it displayed seemed more vibrant then on Vive. Darkness actually looked like darkness rather than a black mist like on Vive. Anyways my point is though they are easier to set up with the absence of external sensors and have a better price point, I wouldnt call them better at all, especially if you already own a Vive.

Thanks Hooded Cow for sharing your experience with the Samsung Odessey. I have been really curious about it, wondering if it was much better than the Vive.

I have tried the lenovo explorer and while it works fairly well, I would hesitate to say its better then then the vive. As even after trying it(bought it for my kid for christmas) I am in no hurry to switch...., cord is abit short as the other user mentioned about the samsung. Tracking was ok and easy to setup, but for sure no where near as nice as vive. it was comfortable and abit lighter but honestly maybe I am just used to the vive as it was not much of a difference for me personally and I still preferd my vive after using them both. On a side note it does have lower usage requirements which is a added bonus for users with say gtx 1050s or other lower end hardware etc.

It's not way better.

Windows HMDs have higher resolution.

Its highly unlikey to support mixed reality as the extra load of rendering multiple viewports with depth informaiton to allow the compositing of a mixed reality image with camera footage would be high for an already demanding game. Plus as this is bethesda's own engine they'd have to program the capability in from scratch. Given that we've seen no promo footage in mixed reality I think it's safe to say no support.

That's not the Mixed Reality OP is refering to. Microsoft created their own line of VR headsets that they decided to call Mixed Reality headsets because the sofware that runs them does AR for hololens as well..

i had HTC vive and it feel like realy bad resolution compare to my now Lenovo WMR
HTC was fine, but it have no chanse against the new WMR goggels sharpness on the display, and the tracking tec in them that remove the need for wall placed sensors.

What does first pro vr game mean? You lost me there, professonial means you make money off it. Who is gonna make money off of fallout vr? It is not even multiplayer.

If you mean the first full release good vr game no and not just a 10 min demo. There is Elite dangerous, skyrim vr, and resident evil vr.

ah guess we use pro diffrent.. well still similar.. i ment like costy high end Vr-game made by a big corp.. not always mean that its better then low cost games, but there is a chanse they have the money and team to make a VR game that looks and feels like top class game (like normal fallout) just in VR. !?!"! Oh well., , my english is to limited to explain properly.. looks like the rest here got it !

Thank you Scorpion for your reply :) I haven't started to research all the new stuff coming out lately and it's nice to hear from real consumers perspective on hardware they have actually tried out. Thanx again ^,^
