We need another Jedi Knight game!

I'm sure lots of people have written this in the past years, but we totally need another entry in this awesome series. Looks like something that could have been a worthy successor was cancelled by EA's greesy paws, but that could pave the way for a more classic "lightsaber to the wall" type game if Disney gives the license to an actual game studio rather than a MTX vomiting pit of obscenity.

Makes me wonder which game dev studio would be a possible option to create the next JK title...

Well, Raven belongs to Activision and aren't they mostly being used as grunts for CoD now? Used to make some awesome games though like the Jedi Academy and Star Trek Voyager I still play after all those years ^_^

The Jedi Knight storyline has been retconned by Lucas Arts resp. Disney. There won't be any new games in the series.

They could make a sort of spiritual successor, similar gameplay and stuff but a separate storyline

The new timeline is pretty dull though... I am quite the Star Wars fan and the most recent movie I didn't even bother to watch (something that would have been unimaginable before) as the one before felt like trash to me (as in the trash genre which is about larger than life acting with flat and simple characters and doesn't fit Star Wars).

Maybe some fans could make a new game and host it somewhere off the radar...

Or we have to wait until Disney realize they messed up and restore canon. Their new one doesn't really mean anything to me personally.

Profits say otherwise. This won't end any time soon. Enjoy new sequels and "Star Wars Stories" until your dead. Because that's most likely what we'll get.

EA has the Star Wars license. And they hate single player games, for they think these games don't generate as many incomes as multiplayer games do. So we won't get any Star Wars single player game anytime soon.

Yes, but Mp wasn't the main thing, except for Academy maybe. Imagine a Jedi Knight game, multiplayer only, published by EA... "Preorder to have 15 lootboxes, Darth Maul's double lightsaber and Padme sexy dolls!!!" Urgh.

I didn’t say it would turn out well, just that these games have MP. EA can die in a hole (or preferably sell out to a better company)

Was it 1313? From the trailer it looked like an Uncharted-ish Star Wars action game.
