STAR WARS™ Republic Commando

STAR WARS™ Republic Commando

So what is all this talk of putting bump mapping on the lowest settings?
I've noticed a lot of people on here have been talking about the game not working once they changed the bump mapping. I was wondering if this is due to old machines, or a problem with the game itself. Because I just bought it today and I really dont feel like breaking it on day one. And if it is a graphics card issue, I have a Raedon 7770 so I should be good if that is the case?

You only have to use it(set bump mapping to low) if the game crash when you try to play story mode or online.

Oh ok, but I've noticed you said that it has issues with AMD, and my card has an ATI GPU

And I'd like to thank you, I've seen you all over the forums for RC helping people.

I use Nvidia, and have the problem where textures look terrible with bump mapping turned on. Please someone tell me there is some kind of workaround or something, because the game looks terrible without it
