What if anything would be an upgrade to the Snakebite, .300 mag, and .44 revolver?

I don't know if others are having similar issues but I am having issues on Hirschfelden. Most times it takes forever for my binoculars and spotting scopes to lock onto prey and quite often they won't. I have been farming pheasants with no problem to get my skills up for the 22 Air Rifle but since getting to 50 kills I suddenly find that I now miss more times than I hit them, even at close range, because as I fire the weapon pulls to the side. On the way home from work today I decided to drive by a patch of woods. I do this when there is a story on the radio I want to hear, or finish before I come home. Lately the events have moved away from the Community Style to the Old Style which is great for a select part of the community but unfair for the the majority in my opinion. Think I am only just whinging or being a sore loser? How is it then, with the event being almost over, that so far only 371 players have managed to get the required 700 to qualify for the first Trophy?
