TL;DR this is a ragepost. The point is that L4D3 is not going to be made, nor does it need to be.
We have workshop for maps, skins, weapons, ect. and valve is working on a Enhanced Mutation system that allows the community to create custom mutations. We don't need a L4D3
Call it unrealistic if you want, but I'm at least certain about Half Life 3 being their first number 3 and being the first on their next engine.
I Remember times where the game was B2P
I think even a Portal 3 is more likely. I'd rather a new Left 4 Dead 3, but it's all up to what valve decides to do.
HL3 before anything else, though. We can all hopefully agree that Half Life will be the first valve series to hit 3 before any other franchise.
