You can change the resolution on the launcher!

When you hit "Play", two options should show up: "Play Fate/EXTELLA" and "Launch Configuration Tool". If you choose "Launch Configuration Tool", there are options there.

If you right-click the title in your library, there is a "Launch Configuration Tool" option there as well.

I see thinks. Seeems I can do it at full screen, but not windowed. Better than nothing. Will play later today.

You can use 3rd party client called Borderless Gaming if you want window-fullscreen.

Can someone report the resolution options? I'm hoping for 1440p. and does it offer 4k and work well in those resolutions?

Hey, Developer dude, those sorts of options should be accessable from IN GAME!

I ran a few tests. Full screen lets you select any resolution your display supports, no idea if they all display correctly.

Personally I selected 4k and it's much better res quality than 1080p.

Update:
AA is pretty ugly, I turned it off and used SMAA with reshade. Other cool things work with Reshade such as AO. Edit: AO not so good because it shows up even behind objects.

That should be self evident, as "4K" is 4096/3840x2160 (versus 1920x1080).

For me I had to make sure my desktop was set to the resolution I wanted. Game supports 5120x2880 for me. I'm sure it supports even higher, but I want to maintain at least 80-90FPS.

Game at 4K stays above 120FPS for me. So damn fluid.

Glad to know this thx you all XD

I wish I knew how you could change the resolution before I booted the game up. I basically played through the Nero arc with the top bar sticking out and the button section on the bottom hidden that it was a major buzz kill. Felt like I was playing a pirated game.....

After I finished the game I decided to poke around to find that a developer replied to a different thread (this thread) where I found out I could open up a launcher to then fullscreen the game. I guess a port is a port, yet that stuff should have been in the main settings in the game. What's done is done, and I was made to feel stupid and I'm not happy with that......

Well, at least the post-Nero arc shall have happier gaming now that it's full screen.

On the launcher, you cannot change the resolution to anything above 1600x900 when selecting Windowed Mode.
