all drivers up-to-date?
Are you getting any kind of error-message?
Also please do the following (in order to probably get an error-message):
- Please right-click on "Railway Empire Beta" in your Steam library
- Now select "Properties"
- Switch to the tab "Local Files"
- Select "Browse Local File"
- In the newly opened folder try starting the game .exe directly (best as administrator) and check, if you might receive an error-message.
-cheers
I am getting the generic windows message that the program closed.
My drivers are up to date I checked with Gforce Xperience, this is the first game where my pc crashed since I build it last year.
Some additional suggestions:
1. Verify files of "Railway Empire"
2. Please observe the suggestions of the following discussion: http://steamcommunity.com/app/503940/discussions/0/1693785669855866690/?tscn=1516993963
4. If nothing of that helps, reinstall the game
For now they ask to make this:
1. Go to properties of Railway Empire
2. Navigate to the "Local Files" tab and click "Browse local files..."
3. Double-click on RailwayEmpire.exe and directly launch (Steamcleint has to be running)
Now you should get a proper error message. (for example vcredist-DLL is missing)
Please tell has what happens at this point.
are you still having problems, or did it solve?
-cheers
The other time it once again closed, I tried to ctr+shift+esc and make a dump but the screen was just all black with the windows error and I couldn't tab to the other window, this game just doesn't work for me at all.
-cheers
unfortunately there is no other possibility to track down your problem without crash dumbs. Could you please provide Gaming Minds with you crash files?
1. Create a DxDiag file
2. When RE crashes, don’t close the process yet. Instead Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open the Task Manager
3. Right-click “Railway Empire”
4. Select “Create Dump File” - this will take a moment
5. After this you will receive a message that states that the file was successfully created and the path the file was saved to.
6. Navigate to the .dmp-file and zip it together with the DxDiag file
7. Upload the .zip-file to:
