Why no cards for L4D1?

lol that avatar. I know what you mean man. There should be workshop on steam for the game too but there isnt. So you have to go hunting for other campaigns and goodies elsewhere. Left4Dead2 has a workshop. Why not Left4Dead : /

Workshop would be nice. I also play L4D2 with custom survivors & infected. Is it a superior game? Not really cause all the original campaigns have that apocalypse atmosphere that not all L4D2 campaigns deliver. Dont get me wrong Dark Carnival and Hard Rain do deliver good experiences. Im not really annoyed or jealous of the L4D2 players. The free bump was great to the servers. I was just wondering. Since i always liked the first game more.

Valve doesn't care about this game anymore, so there'd be no purpose in having a workshop and cards.
