when i kill the final boss i dont black out and go to the final area
i kill the final boss the giant fire ball comes out of the portal and my screen doestn go black and then have me teleported idk but it doesnt work

This happend to me too!! rely anoying but basicaly you beat the game just watch the ending on youtube!

Did bug still exist? It's exist from a loong time - it seems that nobody cares about it.

I'm downloading Opposing Force to play it again but this bug at the end of game...

I know the ending because i finished game multiple times, but can't finish it normally is not fun, especially because we had pay for this game!

At least there are cheat code to load last map... but it's workaround not fixed bug...grr...

It's a common bug from the beggining - everybody know's about it, but no one cares to fix it (dev's logic is strange).

It's not the same fun, but there is a workaround - kill the monster and use chats to load last map (outro).

My opinion - it's better to play from retail disc (no bug).

I am experiencing the same bug. What is this cheat code that loads the last map?

Activate the console (default ` (tilde), I think) and type:
map of7a0

I saw on another thread that it might work to beat the boss without reloading; I haven't tried it yet.
