State of the game? DotP 2012
Hello die hards,

I'm curious how this game is doing as of March 2014. I played this and the original, but looking at 2013 and 2014, they don't have nearly as many or as interesting of decks as the earlier versions, 2012 in particular. Because of that, I'm considering coming back to this for my occasional Magic fix.

Is this game still supported? IE, can you get matchmaking for games through Steam? Are there players out there to get games with?

Also, I had the base game and expac, but not any of the "deck packs." If I want to play decks from the deck packs, can I unlock them in game without buying the deck packs or do I need to buy those first as well?

My hope is you're out there playing a supported game and I can soon join you in this wonderful "dead" game.

Bueller?

This game has been dead for a couple years really....

Wait for Magic 2015 which I'm hoping comes out this week or play Magic 2014....

There are a couple of people who would still like to play this game, but the packs are broken... You can unlock cards, but the cards do not stay unlocked; and any custom decks you create are lost forever. I really wish that STEAM would give us the executable so that we could install it ourselves, and not depend on their faulty platform. I believe it was they that they broke the decks when they did one of their updates. See http://steamcommunity.com/app/49470/discussions/0/666826251156857785/?tscn=1403509327.
