VC - Cant find velvet

Im doing the procure gift quest, i can find furs easy as hell but no velvet at all!
Anyone know where to find velvet in VC?

Velvet doesn't exist in VC. It's replaced by something else. What it is replaced by, I don't know. It's the same with spice to mead, you just have to figure out what good the game is actually asking for.

Use silver instead of velvet.

Changes:
spice -> mead
silk -> amber
dyes -> walrus ivory
velvet -> silver

Just got a quest to find 2 walrus ivory. I try about half the town merchants of the map with no luck. Anyone know where to find walrus ivory?

Seems I found the answer I was going to villages and talking to the elders turns out they sell the Walrus Ivory. Hope this helps anyone if they still are looking for it!

What we do is simply check the merchants every time we shop for another reason, and stash any jewelry, silver, amber, etc... in the refuge's chest. When we get a quest, we know where to find the goods.
