My DLC wont work!
Can someone help me out? Ive bought Late Night and High End Loft, and when I open my Launcher the games dont appear at the bottom nor in game. Ive registered the base game and DLC through EA and when i log in nothing happens. I'm still stuck with just the base game. Does anyone have a cure for this madness?

same Problem ALL DLC doesn`t work. Sims 2 Launcher starts without DLCs. In Launcher Bottom all DLCs have "Needed"-Flag.
I have all Main-Addons via Steam.
Because an other Error i´ ve rebuilded my System 3 weeks ago. In my previous Windows/Steam Installation Launcher & Sims starts correct.

22 GB of Reinstall later...... Bad work Steam and bad work Orgin!!!

After deinstall Sims 3 with Steam, Register Main Game & DLCs on Origin (for People not knows: your EA-Account you´ve created at 1st Start of the Sims 3) I was able to Download & Install Main Game and DLCs via Origin-Account.
Now Sims3-Launcher starts WITHOUT Steam (and Origin) but with my DLCs and I logged in in my EA-Account.

Here my Steps:
Step 1: deinstall The Sims 3 complete from Harddisk (Steam delete lokal Data)
Step 2: Register Main-Game & DLCs on Origin
Step 3: Download and install Origin-Client
Step 4: SETUP ORIGIN-CLIENT (don´t let Start it automaticly; Where have Origin install Objects after download; etc)
Step 5: Download Main-Game and DLCs with Origin-Client and install it in the right Order.
After install Main-Game you can see in the Bottom of Launcher the correct Order for the DLCs. (download on origin is a little bit faster as on Steam).

After these Steps
- I can Start Sims 3 (Launcher) without steam- and origin-client.
- All my DLCs have the "installed"-Flag in Launcher
- I don´t must Start Sim 3 with Adminrights (like in my previous Install)
- I´m logged in InGame in my EA-Account.

Short - after these Steps my Sims 3 runs correct.

Thanks, the game works now. So many people talk bad about origin, but i dont see the negative side of it other than EA requiring that you be connected to the internet to play games

well people like or don't like origin for there own reason i guess

After run Sims 3, in main menu, requires the game disc. I purchased the digital version of the game that should be verified through SecuROM. SecuROM on Steam works, but it does not work on Origin.

I have the same problem. When I run The Sims 3 with my DLC installed, it doesn't show up!

How do i register it on origin

Does doing it through origin prevent me from using the game on multiple computers? I have no problems with my expansions on my computer at home, but at work it won't recognize one expansion. I've put a helpdesk ticket up for the SteamCS folks, waiting to hear back.

Today's Steam client update corrected the problem with nonfunctional DLC "The Sims 3". Lucky day :)

Thank goodness! :)
