password AND email

i'm logged into my steam but forgot my password AND my email has gone. I don't know what to do because i have 100's of pounds worth of games on my account and can't afford to buy them all back again. Please reply because i'm in bits.

You should contact Steam support, and you'll probably need to prove that you own the account.

This isn't the same exact situation covered here, but I imagine the process is similar:

When you've got the documentation you'll need, click the "Contact Steam Support" button on the right-hand side of that page and fill out the form.

Why do you need your password? Can't you just play games without it?

Not if you get logged out, or steam does one of its regular "Hey, you need to log in again" things.

you see the reason why is because my sound isnt working on my laptop and i want to send it off to be repared before the warranty runs out its just that they re-set the laptop and then i wont be able to log on again after installing steam back on. p.s thanks: Cruinne x
