Can I combine with Origin?

I didnt see anything online that helped. I bought several Sims 3 games on Origin. Can I buy some on here also and play them or is it all on 1 or the other? Would really love to jump on this Sims 3 66% off steam deal now if i can combine them

You can register Sims 3 keys from Steam to Origin, but not the other way around.

But you cannot purchase (or install) SPs and EPs on Steam without owning the base game on Steam, and you can't get their keys until you install and run them.

Aslong as I can buy them and play them it doesnt matter what its on. Just didnt wanna buy them if i cant use the Origin games i already own

So if i rebuy the Sims 3 on steam will the EP and SP from Orgin still work i have some on there?

You can buy Sims 3 and DLCs on Steam and activate the product codes on Origin.

I just bought Sims 3 together with "Into The Future" DLC on Steam. Then on the Sims 3 page in my game library I clicked on "Product Codes" and activated the DLC on my friends Origin account.

DLC is downloading right now. No need to install Sims 3 on your Steam machine / steam account, but you need to buy Sims 3 base game in order to be able to buy the Sims 3 DLCs on steam.

So Steam isnt allowing the expansions to be purchased without me owning the base game on Steam? What kinda BS is that?
