Alternate Ending ? [Spoiler alert for those who did not finished game]

Does drake gets eaten at every difficulty or is there alternate ending when I complete game on hard where he actually wins ?
I want to know If I should bother to replay game or not

Played it on hard didn't accept the sword at the beginning, drake still gets ate by the giant mushroom. I guess that proves what a ♥♥♥♥ the holy avatar really is, because i found drake to be the most effective char in the game. Half the time the holy couldn't hit anything.

Yes Holy is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ especially in sequel
