ALL COMMAND LINES -- PATCH V1.05 (21 JULY)
Hi Vanquish fans,

We’ve updated the game with another patch – V1.05 – that adds another command line to turn off more motion blur effects.

Below is a list of ALL command lines we’d enabled so far, in one easy location.

To enable them, go to Vanquish in your Steam library, right click and go to “Properties”. On the “General” tab, click “Set launch options” and type the command lines with a dash in front. For multiple commands, put a space between, e.g. -fov100 -fulltone -fastvisor.

Happy hunting!

-extendedmotionbluroff
Will disable more of the motion blur effects when Motion Blur is turned off in the graphics menu.

-unlockaspectratio
Removes the borders on the top/bottom or left/right of the screen in non-16:9 aspect ratios. Please note that Vanquish was originally designed to a 16:9 aspect ratio only, and as such, certain UI elements will be distorted with the lock disabled.

-fov 80
Use a number between 40-120 to change the field of view. The game was designed for an FOV of 80 degrees, so errors may occur at other values.

-monitor 2 (or any number in a multi-monitor setup)
This will allow users to select which monitor to treat as the primary device, which will allow full screen exclusive to work on that display.

-audio 2 (or any number corresponding to an audio device)
Force the game to use the selected device rather than the default device (may help players with audio device issues).

-window
This will force the game to boot into windowed mode (should help if the game is defaulting to an unsupported resolution).

–fulltone
Players should try this if they’re having issues with the brightness rapidly changing (may very slightly impact performance).

–fastvisor
For players experiencing slowdown in the visor cutscenes, may improve frame rate in these sections.

You still need to fix the volume of the game. As said before, the FMVs were the right volume; everything else was just too low. Now everything is about 20dB too low.

Why bother with "-extendedmotionbluroff" just disable the damn motion blur and enable AA...? I've been waiting for this since launch... i've finished the game. Cross eyed and all.

Even with turning the setting off in game, motion blur would STILL remain active.
