Online Error

Ok so I just built a new computer, before hand I was playing off my CD on my laptop and it worked fine online finding games and with hamachi playing with friends via direct join. However putting the CD in the the desktop and the patching ends in this error:

"The online lobby system has disconnected. There may be connection issues between you and the online lobby servers, check your internet connection, firewall and router."

I cant play any type of multiplayer game. I don't use windows firewall and AVG has it as an exception. Help. :(

read the log of the firewall to see if its blocking it. also check beforehand that you have set rules so the firewall logs the blocking. i have dark crusade as an exception in norton but it still gets blocked, so you probably have to allow all tcp and udp communications coming out of your computer.

also you have to turn off any vpn.
