purpose of turbo button?
On my madcatz stick I have a turbo button which up until now I could never be bothered to figure out how to use.
Now I tried it and the only thing I notice is it makes it easier to mash buttons, like for blanka electricity, gen punches, chun kicks, honda slaps.

My question is: what makes this feature so "criminal" that its banned in tournaments etc. are there other things about it which I am not aware about? cus otherwise it seems kind of harmless, and only favourable to 4 chars in the game.

And secondly, if it really is so evil, then why would madcatz, sponsors of tournaments and the like, implement these in THEIR sticks?

Turbo makes 2 frame or more links easier, which is a little unfair since you will not have to worry about dropping combos.
Sticks are made for arcade games. If you read the name of game on a stick, it does not mean that the stick has been created for this very game. It's just a skin (Captain obvious strikes again). When you play a shoot em up, alone, it's ok to use turbo. But if you want to play versus friends and you dont have your stick, or play in a tournament, you wont be able to play at all. I dont use 3P or 3K buttons because of that. Play as you want, but accept the consequences.

Plinking is 10 times easier to do though.
