How to Report Bugs and Issues
So you’ve found yourself a bug and you want to let us know and you ask yourself, how can I deliver my info about this bug in the most effective way possible? Well, thanks for asking! Here’s the most effective way for us to have the info we need to fix the issue.

Search for Keywords on the Forum FIRST
Before you start posting your own thread, have you checked to see if this error is being experienced by other users? It's easy to do by simply typing in the search box that steam provides, you can search by post, sub forum, or forum. When looking for similar posts it is always better to contribute to the existing thread than to start your own. The developers will not have time to address multiple threads of the same topic. Do not post bugs to an unrelated thread or your report will be ignored.

And please, read through the thread before you post, a number of people are posting on threads seeking answers that are within the thread already. Is you post unrelated to the topic in the subject and Original Post? Then it do not post in that thread.

Post bugs and issues in the Steam Support Sub-Forum
Report your bugs EXCLUSIVELY in the Support Sub-forum. Posting bugs in other forums or in unrelated (unrelated to that specific bug) threads will result in your issue being ignored. And we want to fix it. Help us to help you.

Title your Thread with Relevant Key Words
-If you've got trouble with quest logic, put that in the title [quest logic] Make sure the title of the quest is written somewhere.
-If the bug is in combat you should write [combat] in the title. And explain which combat you are in (location, quest, enemies, it all helps).
-Are you having save game trouble write [save game] in your title

This will make your Thread easy to find not just for the devs but other users as well. The easier it is to find, the more likely people can contribute to the discussion and the faster the dev team can resolve the issue.

Tell us your Specs
CPU, OS, Video Card, RAM . Please do this every time you post a thread or email a file.

Describe the issue
Tell us what you were doing when it happened and tell us what happened. Feel free to include screenshots. You can include links to your steam screenshots directly in your Thread.

Email us important files

In your email include a link to your forum post or the thread that is associated with your issue. This will allow us to communicate to you and other readers that we are working on an issue, or require more information. Email us at: support@logicartists.com

Save files are found by default in:

C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Expeditions Viking\Savegames

**Label your files to match your post**

Include a copy of your output_log.txt file, collect this file immediately after the bug occurs, it can be found by Default in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Expeditions Viking\Expeditions Viking_Data

You can also find the folder by right-clicking Expeditions: Viking in the steam client, select Properties, Local Files Tab, Then press the “Browse Local Files” Button.

Add your Saved Game files to a .zip and upload them to us, name the .zip file the heading of your Thread to identify it. We need the Folder, .sav, and .png, they will all share the same name.

Be Patient.
We want to help you, and we appreciate you wanting to help us by telling us about it. We are a small team and if we haven’t commented on your thread, that does not mean we are ignoring you. On the contrary we may have already begun resolving the issue. Thanks again for your report!
