They are $2.00 now. It seems like most of the negativity is about running the game, but generally it has favorable reviews in terms of gameplay and graphics.

It's...pretty horrible. The control scheme, graphic options. Looking at the game mechanics and detail it looks like it was almost good, I couldn't make myself play for more than a few minutes.

I disagree. I used to play a lot this game a few years ago (I had it and its expansion in their retail versions) and I enjoyed it so much that I bought it again in Steam to have it in my library.

Don't forget this is a six-years old game, but I find that the graphics are still very nice and original. And I didn't have any problem with the "control scheme".

I enjoyed the hell out of Silverfall. More than Diablo II in fact.
The UI takes some getting used to, but it's moddable anyway.

It's basically a mainly outdoor dungeon crawler with companions, loot, and a nature-technology alignment system that actually matters. Plus, it has implied love stories involving the main character and a love tragedy that the main character gets sucked into.

BTW that word is not in most dictionaries...you would think if they allow LOL and APP they would certainly allow that!

I've never bothered with the editor, so I know nothing of Silverfall's moddability besides what I've heard.
