Just what CAN you do with VR?

Since I heard that TF2 has VR support now, I couldn't help but wonder just HOW it works.

Is it kinda like having a screen in your face, or do you really get to look through their eyes as if you are really there? Can you shoot in one direction while looking in another? Can you watch your back as sniper while sniping? While you be able to see more than people without VR?

I heard it would be like you're there, and from what I've gathered the Rift Display will be like the character's "eyes." The crosshair will be controlled by your mouse, which will determine your aim.

i have seen some videos about the VR and in the background was they playing tf2 and as i could see CAN you look in one direction and shout in another. it works like now your head controls the camera and your mous the weapon but i dont now how it works whit the sniper rifel.
